Netizens are rife with speculations after Kai Cenat's friend Ray, known as rayasianboy on Twitch, received a ban from the platform. The streamer's channel is now inaccessible, and any attempts to open it lead to a message stating that it is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's content guidelines or Terms of Service.

The Taiwanese creator's Twitch channel is no small fry either, having a follower base of nearly 900,000 and his live streams being watched for more than 441,000 hours every month. Despite this, Kai Cenat or Ray has made no formal acknowledgment of Ray's Twitch ban, and Twitch has yet to announce the official reason.

Many users on X commented on the @StreamerBans post on X announcing the ban, speculating that the ban may have been caused by the creator casually dropping what seemed to be the homophobic "F-slur" during a stream on July 23, 2024. Although the creator subsequently stated that he said a similar-sounding word instead, netizens believe this may have been enough to be seen as a violation of Twitch's content policy.

On the other side, fans also noted that this week was particularly unfortunate for Ray, as he had allegedly also been kicked out of Kai Cenat's house recently. Talking about the incident, Ray claimed he was forced to move out after he "disrespected" Kai Cenat by turning off his broadcast during a water-drenching fight.

"Getting kicked out the penthouse and getting banned bros having a bad week already," wrote @its_krym on X
"Probably because he said the f slur on one of his streams," wrote X user @YEATTHABEST
"Bro was thugging a little to hard in nyc," wrote @TheRealRec0ns on X
"Hanging around the wrong people and not listening to Kai smh," wrote X user @jehmejia

Netizens speculate Ray's ban could be due to his usage of the "F-Slur"

During Ray's recent broadcast from New York City, the creator was sitting alongside some of his friends when one of them moved too close for the 18-year-old creator's comfort. Calling on the friend to shift away a bit, the creator dropped the "F-slur", stating:

"Yo! Why are you so close to me, bro? F**king fa**ot! ... I said fat a**! Yeah, it's my accent."

The creator and his companions tried to play it off by citing his "accent" as the reason for the mix-up. At the time, netizens had also questioned whether Twitch would possibly give out a ban for his indiscretion.

During a recent stream from New York City, Ray was accompanied by Fanum. The two were in a car when Ray decided to cuss out the New York City police, while a car seemingly belonging to the NYPD pulled up right beside them. Upon hearing this, Fanum could be seen panning his head directly at the camera in slow motion, seemingly disappointed at his companion's behavior.
