Twitch star Bruce "BruceDropEmOff" recently broke down on a livestream after getting 10,000 subscribers on the platform within a week of returning. For context, BruceDropEmOff joined rival streaming platform Kick in June 2023. Roughly a week ago, on June 1, 2024, he announced that he would be making a "homecoming" back to the Amazon-owned platform.
Fans have welcomed the 23-year-old back to Twitch with open arms, with many viewers subscribing to his channel. Considering subs are the bread and butter for streamers on the platform, the content creator was overjoyed when he hit the 10K subscription mark within a week since his return and broke down crying.
BruceDropEmOff tried to cover his face and thanked his viewers for being so generous with him:
"F*ck! F*ck man, f*ck. You all got me, bro. God damn you all got me, bro. Oh my god negative ten thousand aura, f*ck!"
He added:
"Oh, I was doing so good, man. I was doing so good but my nose running and sh*t. This sh*t is going so good, so."
BruceDropEmOff gained 8K subs in the first three days back on Twitch
BruceDropEmOff made many important career changes last year, leaving the One True King organization in January and officially joining Kick six months later. He had stopped streaming on Twitch for a few months since he signed a contract with the rival platform. According to TwitchTracker, after June 30, 2023, he did not go live on the purple website for about four months.
Even after that, the content creator's streams on Twitch were few and far between till he made an official comeback this month. As mentioned, he has received a lot of support from his viewers since his return. A clip of him celebrating after hitting 8,000 subscribers on the platform three days after his return went viral this week alone.
In related news, readers should note that Twitch subscription prices are slated to go up in countries like the United States, Canada, Australia, and others. This is in line with several other changes that were hinted at by the CTO of the organization a few months ago.
