An individual participating in YouTube star Jimmy "MrBeast" latest challenge video was seen forgoing their chance to win $431,000 after another contestant agreed to use the money to help cancer patients get better treatment. The video, titled Every Minute One Person Is Eliminated, features contestants who were eliminated from MrBeast's competitive game show Beast Games.

After completing various challenges in a bid to attain the prize money, only two individuals, participants Number 19 and Number 11, remained. Before the final challenge took place between the two, Number 19 claimed that she would use the prize money to set up a mobile bus salon to provide services to individuals suffering from cancer:

"I would spend the money on a mobile bus salon, 'cause I want to be able to give back to cancer patients."

MrBeast then asked:

"So, you want kind of like a salon on wheels that you can go to hospitals and help out cancer patients."

Number 19, a prior cancer patient and recipient of chemotherapy, replied in the affirmative:

"Yeah, and just travel the world with it."

The challenge that participants Number 19 and Number 11 had to partake in involved the two individually putting their hands on red buttons placed on a platform in front of them. With a one-minute timer counting down, the two had to decide among themselves who would take their hand off the button and effectively give up the prize money.

If neither party lifted their hands, they would lose the money regardless. Thus, for there to be a winner, one individual has to be convinced to take their hand off the button while the other one keeps it on.

Number 19, who pledged to help cancer patients with the money, also claimed that she would put some money into Number 11's business, thus helping her opponent out in the process as well. Despite the possibility that Number 19 is being disingenuous, Number 11 lifted her hand off the button, noting that Number 19 is a cancer survivor.

Praising the gesture by Number 11, MrBeast labeled it "the most selfless thing" he has witnessed in any of his videos:

"What you just did might have been the most selfless we've ever had in any of our videos. We've had thousands of people compete. Noone's ever done something like that. The viewers are going to want to know. Why?"

To which, Number 11 replied:

"I won all the other games and I feel like giving away the money here was winning this one. 19 a cancer survivor and she's going to give back to cancer patients, I really wanted her to have the money."

In other news, MrBeast recently made headlines for expressing his interest in buying TikTok after the social media app faced a ban in the United States. The streamer claimed he had communicated with a "bunch of billionaires” about possibly purchasing TikTok.
