Controversial Kick streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy has responded to allegations of racism against Black people. During a livestream on the Stake-backed platform earlier today (July 29, 2024), the content creator discussed his recent collaboration with Quavo. During this, Zdorovetskiy accused the American rapper and singer of "taking away" the deposit.
Here's what Vitaly said during the previous broadcast:
"So, Quavo is not coming. No, he's not coming. He took our deposit, right? Yeah, of course, Black people thing. But..."
While claiming that "a lot of people" were trying to "cancel him," the Kick streamer asked three people in masks if his comments were racist:
"A lot of people want to cancel me for yesterday's f**king say. You guys are Black. Right? Was that racist what I said about Quavo yesterday? Did you hear what I said? Did you see that clip? He took our money. He was busy. Nothing against Quavo."
The 32-year-old continued:
"Nothing against Quavo! I love his music. I love his work. And, I said, 'He took the money and he never showed up,' and I said, 'It's Black people stuff.' Is that racist? It's true! You guys knew that!"
One of the individuals responded:
"Hey, my guy is not racist."
"I am who I am": Vitaly says his controversial comments about Quavo "taking his deposit" were dark humor
After one of the masked individuals claimed that Vitaly was "not racist," the America-based Russian personality said that his comments were "dark humor," adding that a "joke is a joke":
"Thank you, bro. I appreciate it. Yeah, well I don't need to... a joke is a joke. Guys, it's dark humor. You already know. And I'm going to rub it in your face as many times as you guys can clip it. I don't give a f**k! I am who I am. And if you don't like it, you don't got to watch."
Asserting that he wasn't racist, Vitaly remarked:
"But no, I'm not f**king racist! I, actually, love Black girls. They do s**k the best d**k, and what else? And... yes!"
This is not the first time Vitaly had to address the community following a controversy. On May 6, 2024, the Kick streamer went viral after an elderly individual was knocked out during his "Catching Predators" livestream. Following this incident, the content creator took to X to announce that the person who got assaulted was "going to be okay" and did not have any long-term medical issues.
