DDG falls asleep trying to livestream late at night to avoid overlapping with popular creators

Twitch streamer PontiacMadeDDG, also known simply as DDG, recently held a broadcast at an unconventional hour to try and gain viewers while other popular content creators of the platform, such as Kai Cenat and members of the FaZe Clan, were offline.

Discussing his attempt at tapping into the platform's viewer base while other streamers are not broadcasting, DDG said:

"It's my moment. We ain't got no n****s on FaZe live, and Kai's not live... N***a, I have to stay on stream."

Twitch is known to be the most popular streaming platform on the internet, hosting big names such as Kai Cenat and the AMP streamer collective, Imane "Pokimane", members of the FaZe Clan, and others. Collectively, they often attract viewership that goes well into the hundreds of thousands.

On the other side, DDG is a well-known hip-hop artist, who is also known to create content on Twitch and YouTube. He is quite consistent on Twitch, hosting broadcasts every few days on the platform. However, for his latest stream, he decided to switch up his time schedule to try and attain viewership when other popular content creators of the website were offline.

Explaining his intentions to viewers, DDG explained:

"Y'all n****s gonna be gone by tomorrow. Walk around with y'all. I'm on this b**ch all day. Y'all fiending for entertainment on this b**ch. I'm the only n***a here. You gotta watch! What other options you got n***a. Sit your a** back and watch."

However, owing to the unusual timing of the stream, DDG ended up falling asleep during the broadcast, effectively turning it into an I'm Only Sleeping broadcast on Twitch.
