Online personality and live streamer Livingston "DJ Akademiks" has finally responded to recent grooming allegations made against him. For context, in a recent broadcast, DJ Akademiks made inappropriate remarks to a 15-year-old Twitch streamer named NourGxd, with clips from the broadcast going viral on X.
One clip showcased DJ Akademiks presenting a sexually explicit scenario to NourGxd:
"Yo, if Max (PlaqueBoyMax) said he wanted to try f**king a dude, will you let him f**k you? (Nour responds, 'No!') Why not? Yo, suppose he's like your bro, 'Listen, you always wanted me to be next to you, now I can be inside of you.' (Nour responds, 'Yo, I'm not gay.')"
Akademiks has finally responded to the allegations and controversy surrounding the livestream. He has apologized, labeling the situation as "regrettable." The 35-year-old said (via Rumble stream):
"A very regretful moment happened where it derived from a Discord where we are usually like super buddy-buddy and honestly, if everything I said in that court got leaked, it would be crazy. Definitely a regrettable moment and we're gonna use this as a teachable moment."
He added he was going to "do better" in the future:
"I'll just take the responsibility. I should do better and will do better and I think that's the best way to do it."
What did Plaqueboymax say about the situation involving DJ Akademiks?
Twitch streamer and FaZe Clan member Max "Plaqueboymax" was displeased after being involved in the controversy. As previously mentioned, DJ Akademiks brought up his name during a discussion involving the 15-year-old streamer.
Plaqueboymax reacted by stating:
"These clips are nasty. It's bad work. Nasty work and today is a great stream, and I'm not bringing it down with this weird energy. Ak, this s**t is very weird, I talked to Nour, Nour is good, to make sure what was good. I'm not going through this s**t."
The FaZe member also said:
"Ak, I would appreciate it if you don't do that type of s**t with my lil bro. You know what I'm saying? He's not my lil bro, but you feel me? Like, this s**t is not cool. That s**t is not cool."
Meanwhile, a fan-run X profile, Akademiks TV (@AkademiksTV), made a series of posts alleging that a young Plaqueboymax engaged in inappropriate conversations with younger creators. However, it was later revealed that Max was a teenager in these clips, and many of the allegations were based on content taken out of context.
