Political streamer Steven "Destiny" has been banned on Kick. The content creator has become the talk of the town ever since he shared his thoughts on the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. During a livestream on July 16, 2024, the Nebraska native revealed that his official X account had been locked because of a post he made about an individual killed at Trump's political rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Earlier today (July 17, 2024), reports surfaced on X stating Destiny was banned on Kick. X user @FearedBuck posted:
"After being demonetized on X (a) few days ago, Kick has banned Destiny for continuously making fun of (an) innocent firefighter who got killed at the Pennsylvania rally."
When accessing the streamer's Kick channel, the following message appears:
"404. Oops, something went wrong. We can't find the page you're looking for."
What did Destiny say about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump?
On July 15, 2024, a 21-second clip in which Destiny commented on the firefighter killed at Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania went viral on the Elon Musk-owned social media platform. While expressing his dissatisfaction with Trump, the indefinitely-banned Twitch personality stated that he would "make fun" of those who supported the former President of the United States:
"F**k it, f**k the dude, the firefighter guy. F**k Trump, f**k the people that support him. I just want you to know, right? Just in case you are confused or whatever, if one of you were in the crowd and you are a conservative fan of mine and you get blown up or whatever the f**k, I am making fun of you the next day on Twitter. I am! 100%"
Destiny reveals his official X account has been demonetized
On July 17, 2024, Destiny took to X to reveal that his official account on the website had been demonetized. He posted a screenshot of the message from the social media platform, explaining why the decision was made:
"Your account Destiny (@TheOmniLiberal) has been temporarily paused for ad revenue sharing as we suspect there may have been a breach of our Creator Monetization Standards. The cause was: Your account was found to have violated our policies."
On the same day, Destiny pushed out another X post, revealing that he had been banned from Kick for "hate speech." Furthermore, it was disclosed that his suspension would be lifted on July 31, 2024.
