On January 27, 2025, Stasia (@curiocactus on X) seemingly accused Kick streamer Steven "Destiny" of non-consensually recording intimate and sexually explicit material of her. In a series of posts on X, Stasia said she discovered that her "trust was egregiously violated" because "a lot" of her personal information was sent to "multiple people" without her consent.
While she did not explicitly name Destiny initially, Stasia stated that she was handling the situation "legally and off the internet":
"My official stance is as stuff came out I learned that my trust was egregiously violated and that a lot of my private stuff/info was in fact sent to multiple ppl without me being aware or having ever consented. I can't go into more detail than that but this is something that I have been handling legally and off the internet. I continue to stand by my original reaction I had the day stuff started to come out, I have nothing to do with him and never will again. I offer nothing but love."
Stasia then provided clarification on what sort of material was shared:
"And support to the other women also hurt by him. We stand in this together. Adding; by private, I mean intimate and sexually explicit material, lol, multiple."
In a follow-up post, Stasia gave a shout-out to Kick streamer jstlk for being caring and supportive amid the circumstances. She then name-dropped Destiny by writing:
"Also, shout out to @jstlk_, who has been nothing but caring and supportive while I worked through this bs Destiny situation. I'm eternally grateful. Ppl strangely mad about this, lol, I've known jstlk since way before this whole thing came to light, atp (at this point), I have no reason to doubt his sincerity but I get why ppl might have concerns and criticisms."
Destiny claims he has "two legal teams" during his comeback livestream amid recent allegations
On January 27, 2025, Destiny hosted his comeback livestream amid the recent revenge po*n allegations against him. At one point, the Nebraska native claimed he wouldn't be able to talk about the "juicy stuff" because of litigation:
"For the juicy stuff, this is what I will say - I'm glad that I've inspired so many people to go the litigation route. However, unfortunately, that severely restricts what would be wise for me or what I am capable of saying publicly about anything. I do look forward to the continuation of and ideally the resolution of that process. Hopefully sooner rather than later."
The indefinitely banned Twitch personality also claimed that he had "two legal teams":
"But I think my two legal teams now are probably going to hate me for saying anything at all. So, I can't really say much, insofar as that goes, unfortunately."
During the same broadcast, Destiny defended Hasan "HasanAbi" from sexual assault allegations, stating that netizens should not "sink to that" level.
