On the third day of the ongoing Hardcore Minecraft marathon, YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" seemed to quit the broadcast because of technical issues. The streamer's clip, in which he was seen bidding farewell to his duo Kai Cenat, has gone viral on social media, leaving numerous fans bewildered.
In a 43-second video posted on X, IShowSpeed expressed his intention to leave the house where he and Kai Cenat hosted their Hardcore Minecraft marathon. The New Yorker assured his friend that they could resolve technical issues. However, IShowSpeed seemed to say goodbyes as he planned on leaving.
Commenting on the Ohio native's decision, Kai Cenat said:
"Oh, we will fix it, bro. You're going to leave? I'll wait until we fix it. Bro, I feel like we can stay on this one until we get... we can find a new one. (IShowSpeed says, 'Love you all boys, though.') Bro, you're dead a** leaving, bruh?"

IShowSpeed was eventually informed that Slipz, his cameraman, had resolved the technical issues. Kai Cenat exclaimed in delight, telling the YouTuber to finish what they had started:

The 19-year-old responded, claiming that he was about to leave:
"Bro, I was just literally about to leave. I was just about to leave, I swear to god. I had the driver ready."
While IShowSpeed was initially ready to quit the Hardcore Minecraft marathon, he ultimately decided not to do so after the technical difficulties he encountered during the livestream were resolved.

On August 19, 2024, IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat were on their 19th attempt during their Hardcore Minecraft marathon, and they were progressing through the Nether. At one point, fans suggested that the content creators use the boat to navigate the in-game zone.
Things, however, did not go as planned, as the two-time Streamer of the Year award winner fell into the lava while using the boat, resulting in their run coming to an end.
IShowSpeed was shocked by this incident and confronted Kai Cenat, saying:
