On August 13, 2024, Eret's alleged response to the allegations against their partner, Ava Kris Tyson, surfaced on social media. For those unaware, Tyson made headlines in July 2024 after being accused of grooming and engaging in inappropriate behavior with a minor. Additionally, she was accused of supporting art by highly controversial Swiss cartoonist Shadman.
On August 13, 2024, X user @mrbeastexpo posted a series of X posts, containing Eret's alleged response to the controversy.
Eret supposedly claimed that Jimmy "MrBeast" told them not to discuss the situation publicly because he was "terrified of inflaming a situation":
"I wanted to talk to you all about my relationship with Ava and everything that has been happening behind the scenes at MrBeast. Beast has asked me not to talk about a lot of this publicly as they are terrified of inflaming a situation that could anger their corporate investors (I can talk about that more later). That being said, you guys deserve full transparency from me and deserve to know what is really happening with everything regarding Ava."

Eret seemingly added that both they and Ava Kris Tyson were "disgusted by the person" the latter used to be:
"Ava and I are both disgusted by the person she used to be. I will go into detail on points, but I need you to know that I would not be dating someone who would behave in the way 2016-18 Ava did. I would not have introduced her to you guys, or my community if I didn't know that she would help us do amazing things."
"I do not stand by any of Ava's past actions or behavior" - Eret seemingly claims partner Ava Kris Tyson was unaware of LavaGS' age in alleged leaked response
In one of the pictures shared by X user @mrbeastexpo, Eret appeared to claim that Ava Kris Tyson was unaware of LavaGS' age at the time of their interaction. For context, LavaGS is the alleged grooming victim.
Eret seemingly wrote:
"The videos detailed a story of LavaGS, one of Ava's old Discord mods who would go on to get a job at Beast. LavaGS was 14 at the time, which Ava only learned much later on. Lava made a statement expressing that 'Ava never did anything wrong.' See Tweet. Despite a lot of these early claims having little weight, they highlighted a large number of incredibly regrettable tweets and posts made by Ava between 2016-18 (which she had previously addressed when she was CisHet and it was brushed off like nbd [no big deal])."
Eret also appeared to say that they do "not stand by" any of Ava Kris Tyson's previous actions or behavior:
"Specific topics: Firstly, I want to say I do not stand by any of Ava's past actions or behavior, but I want you guys to have the full context that explains the gross-looking screenshots."
As of this writing, Eret has not commented on the legitimacy of this alleged response.
