The ongoing controversy involving Guy "Dr DisRespect" has elicited a range of responses from various influencers and content creators. The latest one is WillyMacShow, the popular commentary YouTuber. He recently took to his YouTube channel to post a scathing video critiquing the Doc's recent return to stream and subsequent address of the allegations.
For instance, at one point in his stream, Dr DisRespect claimed that he had not sent any inappropriate pictures to anyone via Twitch Whispers (now defunct feature). However, WillyMacShow, made the counter-argument stating that Dr DisRespect was only making these statements since Twitch Whispers didn't allow users to send media files. He said:
"Nobody ever alleged that he exchanged photos. You can't exchange photos over Twitch Whispers. Nobody thought that. This is when Doc's dishonesty becomes clear. He's going to misrepresent allegations and call them lies when in reality they line up pretty accurately."

During his comeback stream, Dr DisRespect made some surprising statements, including claiming that the alleged inappropriate messages were mere banter taken out of context. However, WillyMacShow highlighted that in the Doc's initial apology post, he had taken "responsibility" for those messages. He said:
"Is Twitch really in the wrong when Doc himself describes the situation as a 'moral wrong' and that Doc 'should have had better judgement.' Doc is back paddling these statements because it makes his audience feel better about watching him."
Dr DisRespect also revealed that, following the controversy, some people had to be laid off from Midnight Society. WillyMacShow responded to this by stating:
"Again, it's all your fault. Am I supposed to feel bad?"
The YouTuber also urged the Doc to reveal the Whispers:
"At this point whatever NDA was in place has surely been broken. So, show the messages. Or at least describe them in detail. Show how they were taken out of context. He doesn't (show them) because the odds are pretty bad."
He concluded:
"Is he guilty? Yes. Is the reality worse than he is telling? Probably yes."
WillyMacShow isn't the only one to have addressed the situation. Other colleagues and friends of Dr DisRespect, including Benjamin "DrLupo" and Nick "Nickmercs," have also criticized the streamer for his actions.
