Ever since the launch of the streaming platform Kick, Dr DisRespect, whose real name is Herschel Beahm IV, has been one of the top contenders to join the bandwagon. The former Twitch streamer has been going live on YouTube since he was banned from the Amazon-owned platform back in June 2020.

The Doc, as he is better known within the community, is one of the most popular FPS streamers and attracts tens of thousands of viewers to his YouTube broadcasts while playing games such as Call of Duty, making him a prime candidate for Kick to sign.

However, in a recent livestream, Dr DisRespect revealed that the Stake-backed streaming platform had offered him a deal worth $10 million per year, and while the contract did not mention any gambling deals, the money was not enough for the streamer. He mentioned:

"Like I said, they had a gracious number. $10 mil per year. Zero gambling, right? But it's just not enough."

Dr DisRespect had previously asked for $50 million to join Kick

Since being launched in late 2022, Kick has gradually become one of the biggest competitors to streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube, with numerous content creators signing deals with them. One of the most talked-about contracts was signed last year in June 2023, when popular streamer Felix "xQc" signed a $100 million contract with the platform.

The deal was not non-exclusive, and Felix has been dividing his streaming schedule between Twitch and its rival ever since. The staggering number naturally garnered a lot of attention on social media, with many other content creators taking notice.

Among them was Dr DisRespect, who tweeted a picture in the style used by Kick when they announce new signings. In the caption, he asked the streaming platform for $50 million to join them:

"50 million is my number…"

Now that Dr DisRespect has revealed that Kick offered him a $10 million per year deal, it is clear why he says that was not enough, as his asking price was five times that back in June and it appears that hasn't changed.
