During a recent Twitch stream, Thomas "Sykkuno" opened up about being swatted in the past. While playing Elden Ring, the content creator noticed a viewer who claimed to have received "rocks" in the mail, with the return postage reading "Sykkuno x Ebiko." They wrote:
"Hey, I just got rocks mailed to me with the return postage as "Sykkuno x Ebiko"? Does anyone know anything about this? I got my merch, like, three weeks ago."
Sykkuno stated that he did not send the rocks to the individual. He then advised the viewer not to "bring attention" to the situation because they had "basically confirmed" that someone had figured out their correct address.
He said:
"What I would say is, typically, it's better not to... I mean, I would just figure out who sent it to you on return address. But I will say - it might be better not to bring attention to it because if anyone's trying to do something weird to you, you basically just confirmed that they got the right address. I hate to say that. That's why I wouldn't talk about it."
Sykkuno then provided details about an incident that happened in the past, when he got swatted. He elaborated:
"I've been swatted before, super long time go, and you just don't talk about it because a lot of times, and I'm going to say it's sad, but people swat the wrong house because they just kind of guess. But if you let them know you got the right house, then bam! They know they got the right house. Then you're donezo, right?"
The former YouTube streamer added that he woke up to see a person inside his house bolstering a riot shield:
"'That's traumatic.' It kind of was! But, it was while I was sleeping. So... it's kind of weird because I just woke up and the dude was in my house with a riot shield, and I was just laying there, and I was like, 'What's happening?' I think, at that point, they realized I wasn't a threat."
"I didn't do anything related to that night" - Sykkuno on getting swatted in the past
Sykkuno was about five hours into his Elden Ring livestream on June 11, 2024, when he spoke about getting swatted in the past. After disclosing that a person with a riot shield was inside his residence, the Las Vegas native said:
"General advice is usually I wouldn't bring huge attention to it. I would definitely look into it, though. I can tell you - I didn't do anything related to that night. Don't know anything about it."

This isn't the first time a popular streamer has discussed being swatted. Back in March, Twitch star Nicholas "Jynxzi" abruptly ended his broadcast after revealing that "eight cops" were at his home.
