Red pill proponent Andrew Tate claimed in a recent post on X that his assets, which were previously seized in August after a court ruling that also saw the influencer being placed under house arrest, will be returned by Romanian authorities. This move comes after a second investigation into allegations made against Tate.
This includes forming an organized criminal group, human trafficking (including trafficking minors), sexual intercourse with a minor, and money laundering.
In his post on X, the controversial social media personality announced:
"BREAKING NEWS The Bucharest Tribunal Court has just ruled to return my 40,000,000 dollars of assets due to a lack of evidence. All my super cars. Gold bars. $3,000,000 in cash. Everything."
Andrew Tate's formerly seized luxury cars to be returned after Romanian court ruling
Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been dealing with Romanian authorities since late 2022 when the two were arrested in the country. The arrests were made following accusations of r*pe, human trafficking, and organizing a crime group.
Now, with the court ruling in his favor on the matter of his assets being seized following the raid, Andrew Tate is set to reacquire his vehicles, including a £380,000 Ferrari Stradale SF90 and Lamborghini Huracan, priced at around £235,000.
However, there is no official confirmation yet regarding the "gold bars" and "cash" being returned, as mentioned by Andrew Tate in his post.
Andrew and Tristan Tate were detained in a Romanian jail for three months in December 2022 before being placed on house arrest until August 2023. Since then, the Romanian courts have put them on and off restrictions, with the latest development being that his house was raided on August 21, 2024. Supposedly, as per claims made by Tate in the past, the house search lasted "nine hours."
