Duke Dennis addresses the community after allegations against him surface on social media

Twitch streamer Duke Dennis has addressed the community following the recent controversy involving him. The content creator made headlines on December 3, 2024, when allegations surfaced on X, claiming that he supposedly had a child with a minor when he was 20 years old. X user @ulxa's post about the situation went viral, in which they wrote:

"Kai Cenats friend, Duke Dennis, is underfire for allegedly impregnating a 15-year-old when he was 20."

The 30-year-old issued a statement via an Instagram Story stating that these allegations were false. He went on to say that the claims against him mentioned above were "slanderous."

During a livestream on December 4, 2024, Duke Dennis also spoke about the situation and expressed gratitude to the community for supporting him:

"For the past few days and s**t... I appreciate how y'all had my back and s**t. You know what I'm saying? I appreciate how... y'all really didn't have to, like, do this whole big spill about the s**t. And like, for the most part, from what I was seeing, y'all had my back more than I thought y'all will. So, that's my bad, on like, doubting y'all and all s**t. I really appreciate that s**t because that s**t is tiring as f**k!"

As the stream continued, Duke Dennis expressed his admiration for prominent accounts on X and Instagram for not profiting from posting content about the allegations made against him.

The AMP-affiliated personality said:

"Twitter pages and s**t and a lot of big IG pages and s**t like that, I appreciate y'all, too. Because I know how easy it is to just farm s**t for interactions. And I know how some of y'all be getting paid and all posting this s**t. In fact, y'all didn't post simply like... when y'all could've made money from it. And y'all hit me up instead to let me know... just letting you know, y'all got my respect. So yeah, you know what I'm saying?"

However, Dennis added that the controversy "didn't take a toll on his mood":

"I have been in the best mood I've been in all year. And, this had no... I was in a really good mood because that s**t didn't take a toll on my mood and s**t. Like, I saw it, laughed at it, and went on about my day. You know what I'm saying? S**t is fire, bro. You know what I'm saying?"
