In 2024, Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren returned to Twitch and decided to dedicate himself to Riot Games' League of Legends. Part of his motivation was his fellow Twitch peer and League of Legends veteran, Tyler1, who challenged him to reach Platinum status in the game. On January 7, 2025, Ahgren beat this challenge and celebrated on his livestream.

In December 2024, Ludwig came back to Twitch after a three-year hiatus to undertake a 100-hour "League Week" marathon, aiming to climb the ranks in League of Legends. By the end of this event, the streamer had reached Silver 4 status, and soon after attained Gold.

Recently, in January 2025, just as the game's fourteenth season came to a close, Ahgren managed to establish himself as a Platinum player. In the broadcast leading up to the win, the steamer was on an incredible seven-game win streak. In the moments after his rank-up game from Gold 2 to Platinum, he mentioned Tyler1's challenge:

"Challenged by Tyler1 to his Plat before the season end, well (Claps) Easy! Easy! Lets go! Platinum man, we did it bro, we hit Plat man, oh my God!"

In 2022, during the Ultimate Crown event, Ludwig and Tyler1 were teammates. The former's limited experience in League of Legends was evident, leading to him facing challenges in the game. Tyler1, known for his competitive nature, openly criticized Ahgren's performance, labeling him an "absolute liability" in a post-match interview.

Fast forward to September 2024, Ludwig orchestrated a playful prank on Tyler during a meet-and-greet session at TwitchCon. Disguised with a cap and black medical mask, he joined a line of fans waiting to meet Tyler1. Upon reaching the front, he posed for a photo beside the streamer and removed his mask just before the picture was taken to reveal his identity.

While reacting to the prank later on in a live stream, Ahgren said that during this encounter, the two made a "bet" to see if he could reach Platinum:

"As a part of me meeting Tyler, we made a bet, him and I, to get Platinum in League of Legends."

After achieving Platinum, Ludwig playfully mentioned Tyler in an X post, showing off his achievement. As of this writing, the latter has yet to respond.

Frequent collaborator Atrioc also took to X to commend Ahgren for his achievement:

"Woke up to a blood-red sky over Los Angeles. Biblical gale force winds. Fires raging. Power outages. End times stuff. Ludwig must have got plat."

In January 2025, while grinding League of Legends, Ludwig raised over $85,000 in support of Shroud's Fragathon — a charity marathon donating $1 per in-game kill to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Shroud's late father.
