Tesla co-founder and entrepreneur Elon Musk's streaming service based on the micro-blogging platform X seems to have started signing big names within the livestreaming world - like Tim "Esfand", Martin "MrSavage", and more - with a special logo appearing next to these individuals' pages on X. The logo is the same as that of @XGaming, which has been described in its platform bio as the "official roster of X gamers."

Musk has been eyeing the streaming scene for a while now, being a gamer himself. While streaming himself playing Diablo IV under his X account @cyb3rgam3r420, he had urged streamers to multi-stream to his platform while citing X's supposedly unparalleled reach.

With such major developments taking place, it seems that Elon Musk's long-time desire to establish a streaming section within X may finally be coming to fruition. This was hinted at by the special @XGaming badges that have appeared alongside the names of OTK member Tim "Esfand", Fortnite streamer Martin "MrSavage", and Valorant esports professional Max "Demon1" on X.

Martin "MrSavage" addressed the change by making a post in his community on X where he thanked Elon Musk personally:

"New badge? thanks @elonmusk"

On the other side, Max "Demon1" held his first-ever livestream on X. The post providing the link to the X broadcast on September 12, 2024, has acquired over 2.2 million views. It also received a reply from Musk, who said:

"Cool, please let us know what to improve"

On the other side, Esfand also held a broadcast consecutively on X, Twitch, and YouTube on September 11, 2024. While his broadcast on X received over 80,000 views, with only 200 likes, it had a relatively underwhelming performance taking into consideration the massive size of his fanbase and an X following of 360,000+. Despite this, he has since continued to multi-stream on X.

Back in January 2024, Elon Musk announced that he would eventually be introducing features typical to Twitch and YouTube such as skippable ads, clips, donations, and other monetization features.
