Ethan Klein has accused Twitch streamer Hasan "HasanAbi" of "normalizing extremism". During the 69th episode of the H3 Show, Dan Clancy Must Resign As Twitch CEO, Ethan Klein stated that "there's nobody" on Twitch who calls out HasanAbi. According to the 39-year-old, anyone who criticized the Turkish-American personality got banned.
Klein then labeled HasanAbi a "radical, anti-American, and anti-Semitic" individual:
"What's crazy is, there's nobody on the entire platform that calls him out. Nobody! They've all been banned. They've all been banned! Nobody! There's not a single dissenting voice what his straight-up radical, anti-American, (and) anti-Semitic, f**king pro-China, pro-Russia, pro-terrorism takes. This is fringe, psychotic s**t that is not normal! Explain that to me how there is not one dissenting voice on that entire platform."
The host of the H3 Podcast also stated that HasanAbi's actions have "contributed to a lot of extremism being normalized." He elaborated:
"And, this has really contributed to a lot of extremism being normalized because young people on Twitch, they go to Hasan, and they think this is normal. And, it's the only option. You can't even click over to someone else who's like, 'Actually, you know what? Hasan's wrong.' Doesn't exist. Literally, doesn't exist. That's f**king crazy, dude!"
"This is cringe as f**k!" - Ethan Klein on Dan Clancy and Twitch staff wishing a happy birthday to HasanAbi
After accusing HasanAbi of "normalizing extremism," Ethan Klein reacted to a video that showed Dan Clancy and Twitch staff wishing the political commentator a happy birthday. Claiming that he had not seen the Twitch CEO make this gesture for any other streamer, Klein said:
"Dan Clancy sent this to Hasan on his birthday. These people (Twitch staff) don't want to be here. He got all these f**king people up out of their their desks to wish Hasan a happy birthday? I have never seen him do this for another streamer, by the way. This is cringe as f**k! Does the CEO want to f**k him? What's happening? He's not going to f**k you, dude."

On the previous episode of the H3 Podcast, Ethan Klein accused Dan Clancy of "hating Jewish people" while discussing Twitch's decision to unban Nico "Sneako" and the Fresh and Fit Podcast channels.
Readers should note that on October 22, 2024, Sneako's Twitch channel was indefinitely banned because, according to the Amazon-owned platform, the streamer engaged in "extreme hateful conduct."
