YouTuber and H3 podcast host Ethan Klein has insinuated that Twitch CEO Dan Clancy is an anti-Semite on a recent episode of his podcast. Clips of the incident have started garnering a lot of traction on social media with many viewers giving their opinions on the matter.
Ethan Klein, married to Hila Klein who has served in the Israeli army, has been critical of Twitch's recent ban on Asmongold following the latter's controversial comments denigrating Palestinian culture. Regardless, on the latest episode of the H3 podcast, Ethan was commenting on the Amazon-owned platform lifting their suspensions on Sneako and Fresh and Fit.
After criticizing the decision, he insinuated that the CEO Dan Clancy hates Jewish people and stated:
"I am going to say it, Dan Clancy the CEO, I think he hates Jewish people."
Ethan Klein blasts Twitch CEO Dan Clancy for unbanning Sneako and Fresh and Fit, labels them anti-Semites
Ethan Klein is a popular podcaster known for his socio-political commentary on issues. He used to host the Leftovers podcast with Twitch streamer HasanAbi before the two had a falling out over the Israel-Palestine issue. Since then Ethan has taken several digs at Hasan.
On the latest H3 episode, Klein noted how Twitch had unbanned two controversial channels which belong to Sneako and Fresh and Fit. Labeling them as holocaust-denying anti-Semites, he said:
"They unblocked Sneako, like last week. Now this week, they unbanned Fresh and Fit. Yeah, and these are like the two most anti-Semitic, like openly anti-Semitic content creators online. They are both holocaust denying anti-Semites."
Ethan Klein went on to claim that while Sneako and Fresh and Fit get unbanned, other streamers are doing fine despite having allegedly spread "terrorist propaganda":
"So, they are both getting unbanned while simultaneously, stuff like showing terrorist propaganda on Twitch is not being punished. What the f**ck is going on there?"
This is a reference to HasanAbi playing music videos attributed to the Houthi movement when OTK member Nmplol was on the stream. Ethan Klein has called out Hasan on this before, claiming that he was disseminating terrorist propaganda.
For those unaware, HasanAbi ruffled quite a few feathers earlier this year when he interviewed an individual associated with the Houthis and made several references to the popular anime One Piece during the segment on Twitch.
