The ongoing Dr DisRespect situation seems to have garnered mixed reactions from the online community. One of the critics is popular commentary YouTuber D'Angelo Wallace., known for his scathing critiques of various online personalities and controversies. His latest subject was Dr DisRespect, following the latter's controversial return to streaming.
For those unaware, Dr DisRespect returned to streaming on Friday (September 6) and denied the previous allegations (including s*xting a minor). He even alleged that the individual in question wasn't even underage.

Despite the strong response, many have remained skeptical. Speaking about the controversy, D'Angelo Wallace said:
"If the strongest defense you (Dr DisRespect) have against the fact that everyone believes that you are a creep and groomer is that 'technically' your messages did not constitute child sexual exploitation materials - the bar is in hell."
"This is just so painful" - D'Angelo Wallace goes off on Dr DisRespect for saying that he used the word "inappropriately" intentionally

Dr DisRespect's controversial return to streaming drew over 200K concurrent viewers at its peak. During his stream, he admitted that he had purposely used the word "inappropriate" to refer to his messages with the alleged victim, as a way to gauge how the media would "define" it.
D'Angelo Wallace wasn't quite impressed with this statement, criticizing the Doc for his attitude towards a sensitive issue:
"This is just so painful. I believe we are witnessing internet history. I have never seen somebody defend themselves against an action by saying that they admitted to it to trick everybody into believing they did it, even though they didn't. If "inappropriate" wasn't the right word, then what was?"
Dr DisRespect also labeled the allegations against him to be "taken out of context." Reacting to this, Wallace said:
"'Mutual banter with inappropriate messages.' So inappropriate messages. What message can be taken out of context to make it seem like you are inappropriately messaging a minor? The thing that you said you did and now he's saying he didn't even deserve the ban (from Twitch)."
He went on to call out the YouTube streamer:
"It's crazy that you think that this is a good defense. It's crazy that you were messaging a child like this in the first place. "
Several streamers have come forward, stating that they have distanced themselves from Dr DisRespect. One of them is Nicholas "Nickmercs," who was one of Doc's closest friends and a fellow streamer. Nickmercs recently posted, announcing that he has "cut ties" with him.
