Twitch streamer Hasan "HasanAbi" is known for discussing political views on stream while he sits at his desk reviewing news and clips from across the web. Occasionally, he steps out into the real world and broadcasts himself while he's out and about, like his journey to the University of California, Los Angeles in April 2024.
These IRL streams often lead to interesting moments. One such incident occurred on August 19, 2024, when Hasan went live at the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago which focused on Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee. As Hasan sat down to eat, an individual walked past him saying:
"Destiny made you."
HasanAbi has a long-running feud with Steven "Destiny", two prominent left-leaning streamers. Their issues are rooted in a series of political disagreements and personal conflicts that have escalated over time.
Hasan was visibly confused at the interaction and called out to the person:
"What a f**king loser."
The rest of the stream involved Hasan meeting fans at a protest for Palestine, showing his solidarity, and also interacting with a few news broadcasters.
HasanAbi's Troubled History with Destiny
Initially, the two streamers shared a friendly relationship, often engaging in debates on various topics. Destiny even did an IRL stream with HasanAbi in 2018, where the two went out, got dinner together, and discussed politics.
However, their relationship soured in 2019 after a heated argument over then-Senator Kamala Harris, where Destiny accused Hasan of spreading misinformation.
Back in 2019, Hasan called Destiny out on his accusations, referring to him as a "liar". In the video, one could see Hasan go off on Destiny, saying:
"What a f**king liar, dude. What a f**king weaselly little, liar, dude... Literally lying. Still lying to his audience. Can someone at least f**king enlighten Destiny that he's literally lying to his audience? What a f**king piece of sh*t, dude. Holy f**king sh*t, dude."
This incident marked the beginning of a rivalry characterized by frequent public clashes, with Destiny often criticizing HasanAbi's views and actions. Over the years, their disputes have involved various political issues and personal attacks, leading to deep hostility between their fanbases.
Despite several attempts at reconciliation, their feud has continued, with no resolution in sight.
