FaZe Clan has decided to treat their fans with non-stop broadcasts which will be held throughout the entire month of September. A teaser trailer was released by FaZe Clan on August 31, 2024, a day before the start of the next month, and the content creator group's September Subathon.
To those unaware, a Subathon is a type of livestream in which a content creator extends the time of their broadcast based on the Twitch subscriptions one gets throughout its duration. This has been popularized by other streamers such as Ludwig and Kai Cenat, both of whom have broken records during their subathons.
FaZe Clan to hold a month-long Subathon marathon in September
The teaser trailer released by FaZe Clan showcases some of the group's content creators, including Rani "Stable Ronaldo", Nick "Lacy", Jerry "Silky", Max "PlaqueBoyMax", Alexander "Adapt" and Jason "JasonTheWeen".
Within the hilarious trailer, the content creators are shown to be busy carrying out their daily activities before being informed that they will be participating in the upcoming streaming subathon. Toward the end of the video, the reluctant group could be seen huddling together to find out that the starting date for their nonstop streaming marathon would be the first of September, much to their dismay.
As described in the trailer, the group will be taking up streaming for the entirety of the thirty days of September, on a twenty-four-hour-long basis. Fans can tune into their individual Twitch channels to catch them streaming during this event.
Before this announcement was made by FaZe, Lacy had announced his own "clipping" event for September. In this event, as announced by him on his Discord server, stream clip creators may stand a chance to win out of a pool of $20,000 for their clips featuring Lacy. Further, the most watched clip will be given a bonus prize of $5,000.
