FaZe Clan, one of the most prominent gaming and entertainment organizations, has a notable relationship with Adin Ross, a popular streamer on Kick. Their connection is anchored by Adin's friendship with FaZe Banks, a founding member and the current CEO of FaZe Clan. Ross now finds himself at a turning point in his career, intending to be reinstated on Twitch, and the FaZe boys are all for it.

On December 7, 2024, Adin (via a post on X) claimed he would be ending his relationship with Kick, where he was one of the most popular streamers. The streamer said he would release a video explaining his situation, and also expressed intentions to get back on Twitch.

For those out of the loop, Adin Ross was permanently banned from Twitch in 2023 for broadcasting "unmoderated hateful conduct", which violated the platform's community guidelines.

FaZe member Kaysan spoke on this in a recent livestream and claimed he would get the higher-ups at Twitch involved, specifically the platform's CEO, Dan Clancy.

"I am going to be talking to Dan Clancy to free Adin Ross. We exchanged numbers, I'm going to speak to him, to free Adin. I've seen Adin's Tweet, I'm gonna do my best to push from behind the scenes."

Other core FaZe Clan members Max "Plaqueboymax", Silky, Jasontheween, Lacy, and Stable Ronaldo echoed this intention and urged Dan to "free the AR". Max even hinted at a potential FaZe signing for Adin Ross:

"FaZe Adin, that sounds pretty good. ('Me and Max was talking to Dan last night, and I said there's only two ni**as I want you to unban, one is Adin Ross...', said Silky) Dan, unban Adin."

"This is the death of Kick": FaZe's Plaqueboymax and YourRage promote Adin Ross' unban from Twitch

Plaqueboymax went live to express concerns about Kick's future, claiming the platform is nearing its end following major streamer and FaZe member YouRage's return to Twitch. He warned that now Adin has followed suit, it could significantly destabilize Kick, given the influence of both streamers in drawing and maintaining large audiences on the platform.

He supported this by saying the platform encouraged leniency and promoted a more lax community guideline system that produced controversial content:

"Now, with Adin and Rage back on Twitch, this is definitely the death of Kick. I think Kick was the best chance competitor to Twitch, besides YouTube obviously. But what happened? Where sh*t went too south was because everyone was doing wild sh*t and they wasn't moderating it. Kick's whole thing was: 'Come on our platform bro! You can do anything, no moderation!'."

In December 2024, Josh "YourRage" officially announced he would be leaving Kick, primarily because he felt Twitch was a better place for his community and the thought of renewing his contract with Kick made him feel like a "sellout".

"I felt [my community] wasn't really happy on [Kick]. Like they had to... like they were forced to use that app and sh*t. I ain't gon lie, I was like 'Damn, I feel like a sellout'." (Timestamp - 5:05)

Towards the end of his stream back on Twitch, YourRage claimed Adin would be joining him soon:

"Shoutout Adin Ross, he back soon, Adin back soon ni**ga, balance is being f**king restored, I promise!"

As of this writing, Adin's Twitch account remains banned, and he has not confirmed a return date to the platform.

In the lead-up to Adin Ross' potential return to Twitch, the streamer's relationship with Kick's CEO and co-founder, Eddie Craven, seemingly turned sour.
