FaZe member Nick "Lacy" took to his stream to announce that he would be putting himself in handcuffs alongside his girlfriend Anna for twenty-four hours straight. However, he put forth a condition for subjecting himself to the aforementioned challenge - his fans would need to help him reach a 35,000-subscriber-count on Twitch.
Addressing his fans directly during his Twitch broadcast, Lacy could be heard explaining his plan for the challenge involving his girlfriend. He stated:
"So, as you guys can see, we are at almost 32,000 subscribers. Um, as soon as we hit 35,000 subscribers, I am going to be doing handcuff together with Anna for twenty-four hours, okay?"
Lacy will be getting handcuffed to his girlfriend after reaching 35,000 Twitch subscribers amidst FaZe's September Subathon
FaZe Clan members are currently doing month-long non-stop 24/7 broadcasts as part of the collective's ongoing September Subathon event, in which the duration of their broadcasts is dependent on the donations being sent in by viewers. This event encompasses FaZe members Rani "Stable Ronaldo", Nick "Lacy", Jerry "Silky", Max "PlaqueBoyMax", Alexander "Adapt" and Jason "JasonTheWeen".
Clarifying what handcuffing himself to his girlfriend would entail, the 21-year-old streamer explained that he would be doing challenges while the two are stuck together for the day. He stated:
"So, we need three thousand more subscribers and then me and Anna will be handcuffed together, doing challenges, going places, sleeping together, for twenty-four hours. Um, so, if you guys want, you know, just get five subs, it's $20. Ten subs, $50."
Lacy has repeatedly come up with interesting ways to enhance his content and influence within the realm of content creation. The streamer had announced his own event at the start of September, in which he promised a prize pool of $20,000 for those making clips out of his broadcasts during the September Subathon. He also stated that he would be awarding a $5,000 bonus for the most-watched clip from the lot.
