American rapper Kodak Black made his Kick debut by showcasing his burning car, which had reportedly caught on fire on its own. The streamer was supposedly driving the car down the highway when it began malfunctioning. This prompted the rapper to pull the car over to the side, after which it burst into flames on its own.
A clip of the incident uploaded by @FearedBuck has gone viral on X and has received nearly a million views. It shows the music artist standing outside the vehicle while a firefighter deals with the burning vehicle using a water hose. Kodak Black did not seem to sustain any injury due to the mishap.
Kodak Black starts Kick stream by showing his burning car being extinguished
Kick has been onboarding multiple famous personalities recently, including Talk Tuah podcast host Haliey Welch, who became an internet sensation overnight after uttering the now-viral phrase "Hawk Tuah" in an interview. She has become a partner with Kick and hosted her first broadcast during her meet-and-greet event at DreamHack, Atlanta.
In the case of Kodak Black's Kick stream, where he goes by @KodakBlack11, an associate of the rapper described the moments preceding the car catching on fire. Mentioning that the car was smelling of gasoline when it was pulled over, they explained:
"We was on the highway and the bit** just started jumping... Nah, it started smelling like gas. We pulled it over. Waited a little bit. We was trying to take it to drop it off to get looked at because the gas line was leaking or some sh**... Thank god we got out that h**."
This is not the only accident involving a car that has made headlines this week, with Jack Doherty being involved in a crash while driving his McLaren. The streamer was accompanied by his cameraperson, who was left bleeding afterward. Doherty received much criticism for his behavior following the crash, in which he appeared to first assess the damage to his car before checking in on his cameraman.
100 Thieves CEO Nadeshot also made a scathing remark regarding the ordeal in an X post, suggesting "jail time" for Jack Doherty.
