Twitch streamer Flightreacts was jubilant after the official Instagram account of USA Basketball tagged him in their post about winning gold in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Flightreacts, a big fan of basketball, is known for playing the NBA 2K series games on his channel.

With over 4 million subscribers on YouTube and another 2 million on Twitch, Flightreacts is quite a famous content creator, and it seems his reputation precedes him in the sporting world as well. Soon after winning gold in the Olympics, the official Instagram account @usabaskteball posted images of Steph Curry with the American flag with a caption mentioning the streamer:

"SAY THE LINE, @flight23white_!"

Earlier, the streamer was banned by Twitch soon after he reacted to the USA Men's Basketball team's highlights against Serbia in the Olympics semi-finals. Claiming that the Instagram tag made him feel better for the temporary suspension, Flightreacts celebrated his comeback and happily showed off the Instagram post:

"Also to end everything off, shout out to Team USA Basketball for making your boy Flightreacts feel better after the 48-hour ban. Shout out to Team USA Instagram, bro, they gave FTC a shoutout. They shouted us out!"

As mentioned, Flightreacts was temporarily suspended from Twitch on August 9 while he was streaming Olympic highlights of the nail-biting men's basketball semi-final between the USA and Serbia on his channel. The streamer was seemingly struck with a DMCA takedown for infringing on copyrighted content.

As such, he had to undergo a suspension for two days, but the shoutout on Instagram from the official Team USA Basketball account was enough to cheer him up. It seemed like a big deal for the Twitch streamer who said that it meant the world to him:

"Brothers and sisters clap it up, man. Man, we made it again dawg. This is absolutely inspirational. This means the absolutely the f**king world, this means absolutely the damn world. Like, completely speechless."

Flightreacts also noted that he had seen the Instagram post before he recorded this video reaction but exclaimed that he had to put out a statement on camera to acknowledge how much it meant to him:

"Now, obviously I've seen this sh*t before I fired this video up, so it's not like a surprise authentic reaction. But at the same time, we have to acknowledge it, bro, this is a 100% W. Shoutout to Team USA."

Now that the streamer is back on Twitch, fans can expect him to continue his normal streaming schedule comprising reaction content and video games such as NBA 2k24 and EA College Football 25.
