Norwegian football player Erling Haaland recently snuck in a reference to Sidemen member Olajide "KSI's" fighting style while doing a post-goal celebration move. The two had planned out the celebration in a prior conversation. To those unaware, Haaland has signed a partnership with Prime Hydration, the beverage brand founded and promoted by KSI and Logan Paul.
Since then, Erling Haaland has appeared in several videos alongside the two influencers, engaging in interviews or challenges while representing and promoting Prime's range of beverages. Talking to Haaland in one such video, KSI had requested the athlete to mirror his fighting stance:
"Alright, Haaland. Next time you score, I want you to do a celebration for me."

A clip of the conversation between KSI and Haaland was shared by the former on his X account on August 24, 2024. In it, KSI can be heard describing his signature fighting stance, which involves his arms being lifted up and down on his side in a motion similar to a "jumping jack".
Explaining what Haaland should do on the field, KSI stated:
"So, you're going to score, run to the corner flag. And then just do this. And then punch the corner flag. And then be like, 'Yeah. Nice.'"
The 24-year-old footballer, unaware of the origin of the move KSI was asking him to perform, asked:
"But why though? Why this?"
KSI replied, stating:
"That's how I fight. You gonna do it?"
Shaking hands with the YouTuber, Haaland simply replied:
"Deal."
The Manchester City player then fulfilled his promise to KSI, utilizing the move to celebrate his goal against Ipswich Town. This was one of three goals scored by the Norwegian in the match, which helped his team bag a 4-1 victory against the opposing team.
KSI is known to have taken part in professional boxing, going up against Logan Paul and Tommy Fury in the past. He recently reacted to Logan's brother, Jake Paul's challenge to fight at 195 pounds, which is not the usual weight class KSI combats in. Turning down the proposal, KSI stated that he would "wait" and do his "own thing" until Paul comes down to his weight to fight "a real boxer".
