Streamer Yousef "Fousey" admitted to view-botting his Kick livestreams. The Palestinian-American personality spoke with Bruce "BruceDropEmOff" over the phone during the latter's Twitch live stream on November 9, 2024. At one point, he discussed his conversation with Ragnesh "N3on," and inquired whether content creators "actually view-bot" on the Stake-backed platform:
"I said, 'Hey, N3on, brother, just tell me, brother,' and I have this on recording, by the way, but I'm only taking there if it goes to court. 'Brother, tell me, do people actually view-bot?' Bruh, he told me the person who created view-botting..."
BruceDropEmOff interrupted the 34-year-old, asking him to be "honest" about artificially inflating his viewership on Kick:
"The thing about it, Fousey, can I get you to be honest? Them doing that and them also telling you to do it influenced you to do it as well?"
In response, Fousey stated:
"100 percent! You're not allowed to be on Kick if you don't do it and you want to be a top streamer. (BruceDropEmOff responds, 'I've never view-botted a day in my life.) Bruce, you're a real one."
Fousey accuses Kick CEO of saying "it doesn't matter" in response to the view-botting situation on the platform
As the conversation continued, Fousey accused the Kick CEO of saying "it doesn't matter" in response to the view-botting situation:
"Listen! If you go live on Kick with no viewbots, and you get 2,000 viewers, and you go to the Kick CEO and say, 'Listen, yes, I got 2,000, but your top 10 guys are view-botting,' guess what'd they say? 'It doesn't matter, here's your deal,' and they give you $2,000 less than the other guy."
Furthermore, the former YouTube prankster alleged that Kick had "nerfed" N3on's concurrent viewership numbers. He explained:
"N3on view-botted 60,000 all last year, that Kick thought was his actual numbers, even though they see the real numbers. So, when they nerfed him, they nerfed him to 40,000 (viewers). N3on is not allowed to stream over 40,000 unless Eddie himself gives him that pass if he has a big stream. Why do you think whenever N3on gets banned, the first stream he gets back, he has 100,000 viewers?"
In other news, Kick CEO Ed "Eddie" Craven hinted that Fousey had not been permanently banned from the platform. He went on to say that the content creator needs to "slow down."
