Controversial YouTuber and live streamer Yousef "Fousey" is facing assault charges in Australia, according to alleged screenshots of his conversation with Adam22 leaked on social media this November 5. The messages suggest that Fousey hinted at leaving the country soon, as he believed law enforcement was looking for him.
This news comes roughly a week after Fousey was banned from Kick following a public altercation with one of his employees during a live stream. Although he was unbanned shortly after, the content creator made a suicide threat, which led to his channel being being taken down once more.
In the wake of these incidents, Fousey shared another troubling account of being detained by police while at a beach in Australia.
Although he was reportedly released without further issue, new rumors surrounding alleged assault charges have gained traction following the leaked screenshots of his supposed exchange with Adam22.
Exploring Fousey's leaked DMs with Adam22 where he claims to have been charged with assault in Australia
Fousey has been living in Australia since last month, where he has been working on his debut album. He also frequently shares updates about his life on social media.
On November 5, 2024, the streamer became involved in a public feud with Adam22, even posting a video in which he took aim at the No Jumper podcast host.
In one of his responses, Adam22 shared screenshots of his alleged private conversation with Fousey, in which the latter appeared to suggest that he was planning to "sneak out" of Australia because he was being "searched" for assault.
Fousey seemingly also expressed interest in doing an interview with Adam22 once he returned to the United States.
However, based on the screenshots, Adam22 declined and advised his followers not to support the streamer. He wrote in a post on X:
"Very disingenuous for you to not include the fact that you were begging for an interview. Get help. Nobody should be platforming someone as obviously unwell as you."
The screenshots quickly went viral, sparking widespread speculation about the Fousey's alleged assault charges. The streamer has not publicly confirmed any charges or provided any details regarding the situation.
There has been a lot of debate surrounding Fousey's mental health amid the various controversies the streamer has gotten himself into after traveling to Australia last month. The trip had started off without many problems, with the content creator even announcing that he met up with Kick co-founder Ed Craven and renewed his contract with the platform.
However, since then, his relationship with Kick seems to have deteriorated significantly, especially after he got banned during his 30-day marathon. After this happened, he dissed the platform and even said he would shoot himself on a stream. This resulted in a permanent ban.
