Kick streamer Adin Ross' future is currently up in the air. The streamer has revealed that he will be leaving the streaming platform (Kick). While he hasn't yet provided any concrete reason for his decision, this has come following an apparent fallout with Eddie Craven (Kick's CEO). Today (December 9, 2024), Kick streamer Yousef "Fousey" reacted to this situation.
Fousey made some strong claims during his stream today, stating that Ross is only "pretending" to leave the Stake.com-owned platform. He further asserted that Ross wants to get unbanned on Twitch and he is orchestrating this feud with Eddie Craven only to funnel viewers from Twitch. Fousey said:
"He is pretending to leave Kick, so Twitch is going to unban him. It's going to be the biggest thing the internet has ever seen and then he is going to take those viewers and bring them back over to Kick. It's all sh*t, it's a gimmick."
What did Adin Ross say about his streaming future?
Kick streamer Adin Ross is one of the most well-known, yet contentious figures in the streaming industry. For those unaware, Ross has been banned on Twitch since February 2023.
Despite the ban, Ross has expressed a desire to be unbanned so he can collaborate with other streamers on the platform. Meanwhile, his standing with Kick seems uncertain, leaving him in a state of limbo.
Recently, he took to his X account (@AR15thed3mon) to provide an update on the situation. He revealed that he plans to make a video documenting his decision to leave Kick. He wrote:
"I will be making a full video on why I am leaving Kick indefinitely. I am stepping down officially and I will be going into detail about this, this week. I will tell you everything."
He added that he will also work towards getting unbanned on Twitch. The streamer wrote:
"With that being said, I am going to fully focus on being reinstated on Twitch."
It’s worth noting that Adin Ross is also a part owner of Kick. If he were to leave the platform, it’s unclear whether he will sell his stake in the company. Currently, he remains banned on Twitch.
