Controversial streamer Yousef "Fousey" has fired his therapist and disowned his mother and brother following his recent Kick ban. For those who don't know, the content creator was reportedly permanently banned from the platform, with Kick CEO Eddie Craven seemingly confirming the news in a text exchange on Sam Pepper's stream.
Since then, Fousey has claimed that he is officially retiring from livestreaming and went viral for saying he had plans to shoot himself. The internet personality has also floated the idea of becoming a full-time rapper and has been giving continuous updates on social media about the happenings in his life.
In a post on X, Yousef revealed that he has fired his long-time therapist Suzi. The former Kick streamer claimed that Suzi had spoken to him daily for the last two years but abandoned the group chat when he needed her help. Fousey wrote:
"I FIRED MY THERAPIST WHO HAS SPOKEN TO ME DAILY FOR 2 YEARS. LAST NIGHT WHEN I NEEDED HER MOST INSTEAD OF BEING THERE FOR ME SHE LEFT THE GC. SHE LISTENED TO MY EX MANAGER WHO TOLD HER I’M UNWELL."
"You guys lost me": Fousey tells his father that his family had lost him and that he would be living in Australia now
Fousey's channel on Kick was suspended after he got into an altercation with his employees live on camera which led to him firing a number of his managers and other staff members. Readers should note that the streamer did lament the latest "crash out" in a long post on X which went on to thank Kick for giving him the opportunity despite knowing his mental health struggles.
In the same post, he went on to criticize Kick for an earlier ban from the day before (despite getting unbanned in a day), and announced that he would not be using the platform anymore. Now, it seems Fousey is burning as many bridges as he can. Not only has he fired his manager Nadeem and his therapist Suzi, but he also went ahead and seemingly disowned his family members citing a lack of support. On November 3, 2024, he posted a short clip of him seemingly talking to his father on the phone with the following caption:
"Family isn’t defined by blood; it’s defined by love and loyalty. DISOWNED MY FAMILY ONCE AND FOR ALL."
In the clip, the streamer can be heard telling his father that he will never see them again:
"Hi baba how are you? I know baba, I am just calling to tell you, you guys will never see me again. Last year when I crashed out and I was in the hospital, instead of checking on me, Mohammad (Fousey's brother) texted me to say, 'Yousef just letting you know, me and mama are disowning you as family member. You're on your own.'"
Fousey also claimed that he would be moving to Australia and that his parents had "lost" him:
"This is the last you're ever going to see me, I live in Australia now. The house in San Diego, I'm still paying for. I need you to drop off Muffin to Lost Angeles, I am giving away my dog Muffin to her baby sitter. You guys lost me baba, I am living my own life now."
The streamer once again called his brother out for not being compassionate about his suicidal thoughts last year and told his father that he would be worth hundreds of millions of dollars one day:
"You guys lost me. You raised a king. I am going to be worth $100 million one day, $500 million. But you are never going to see me again baba. You can call me every day."
Fans have raised concerns about Fousey's mental health with many supporters insisting he move back from Australia where he had traveled to earlier this year to make music and do a 30-day streaming marathon after re-signing his contract with Kick.
