On the same day, reports surfaced on the Elon Musk-owned social media platform stating that Fousey had been banned from Kick. This was the content creator's second suspension in just a few days. He was previously banned on October 30, 2024.
Fousey claims he has "officially retired" after being banned by Kick
Following his Kick ban, Fousey took to X and announced that he was "officially retiring" from the internet. While expressing his desire to become a "leader with love and life", the content creator explained what he planned to do the "next time" his team "messes up":
"I told my team, for the last 72 hours since the hospital, I released all my stress. I can't be a leader with hate and negativity. I've got to be a leader with love and life. I love you guys. Next time you mess up, instead of getting mad, I'm going to tap you in the shoulder and say, 'Good s**t, kid! Do better next time.'"
He then opened up about experiencing technical difficulties during his recent livestream and revealed that he fired his cameraman. After claiming to have lost a "$100 million" deal, Fousey said:
"Guess what? We go live, there's no audio for 30 minutes. I fired him (The streamer's cameraman). Guess what else happened today? In my anger, I get banned. I just lost $100 million and said I would retire. Ladies and gentlemen of the internet, Fousey's..."
Here's what the streamer wrote in his most recent post on X:
"I officially retire! Crown me before I'm dead! Legendary run! 14 years n***a! Time to smoke a joint and get my d**k sucked on the top of the boat!"
In other news, Sam Pepper claimed to have spoken with Kick's co-founder Ed "Eddie" Craven. After receiving a text from the latter, the Briton claimed that Ed Craven seemingly stated "No more Fousey" following his recent suspension from the Stake-backed platform.
