Streamer and content creator Leslie "Fuslie" began streaming in 2015, and over the years, she has achieved internet fame, especially through her collaborations with the YouTube collective OfflineTV of which, Pokimane, Twitch's most followed female streamer, was an active part. After her start on Twitch, Fuslie branched off to YouTube in 2022, where she currently has over 900,000 subscribers.
Fuslie made the switch to YouTube after experiencing frustrations involving Twitch's unpredictable DMCA enforcement—such as sudden strikes for years-old clips—which put her at risk of losing her channel without warning. In contrast, YouTube’s approach to copyright strikes offered her more transparency and control, allowing her to monitor potential issues more effectively.
Fast forward to 2024, the streamer is back and better than ever, multi-streaming on both Twitch and YouTube.
"We are so back!": Fuslie announces multi-streams starting October 29
Fuslie has returned to her former Twitch glory, and her account now dons the partner badge, which is a status given to content creators on the live-streaming platform who have demonstrated a significant level of viewership and engagement. Partners are typically full-time streamers who consistently attract larger audiences and are interested in monetizing their streams.
Recently, In a post on X, the streamer expressed her excitement and stated she was looking forward to coming back to Twitch:
"WE ARE SO BACK!! I'll be trying out multi-streaming on both Twitch & YouTube starting next Tuesday (29th)! I am forever thankful for an amazing two years on YouTube and so excited to be streaming again on Twitch."
In the past, Fuslie hinted at dissatisfaction with Twitch’s support for streamers facing these issues, which left her feeling anxious about her future on the platform. These factors collectively drove her decision to switch to YouTube. Now, it would seem as though the streaming platform and the streamer have come to a mutual understanding.
Perhaps in order to remain on YouTube and retain her previous fanbase, Fuslie will try multi-streaming on October 29, 2024. For those unfamiliar, multi-streaming is the process of broadcasting live content on multiple platforms simultaneously. This allows creators, particularly in gaming, vlogging, or other live content niches, to reach audiences across various services like YouTube, and Twitch.
In related news, Fuslie reveals she had a troubling experience with Noahj456, involving allegations of cheating.
