Well-known gaming journalist and industry insider Rod "Slasher" has claimed that Twitch had reported Herschel "Dr Disrespect" to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children after he was found to be having inappropriate conversations with a minor on Twitch Whisper in 2017.

These claims come amid further reports that Dr Disrespect continued the conversation despite knowing that the individual was underage. In a recent stream with Twitch political commentator Steven "Destiny", Kick creator Jstlk, and Dan Saltman (@dbl on X), Slasher can be heard stating:

"I have reported that Twitch did report this to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children."

Dan Saltman then asks Slasher:

"You have that on record?"

To this, Slasher simply replied:

"Yes."

Slasher confirms that Twitch "for a fact" reported Dr Disrespect to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

To those uninitiated, Dr Disrespect made a post on X on June 25, 2024, where he admitted to having conversations with a minor that "leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate". Furthermore, he confirmed that this was the reason behind his ban from Twitch in 2017.

Since then, he has received severe backlash for his actions, including being removed from his position at Midnight Studios, of which he was a co-founder. He has also been the topic of much discussion among content and viewers alike and was criticized by prominent personalities in the content creation sphere.

In the ever-growing controversy surrounding Hershel, these new revelations made by Slasher detail the potential seriousness of the conversations that took place between the streamer and the minor, as perceived by Twitch.

During the stream, Dan asked while talking to Destiny:

"We're about to make a clip for live stream fail (r/LivestreamFail), Slasher, okay? What you're telling me, okay, is that what Doc did, okay, rose to the level that, for a fact, Twitch was forced to make a report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children?"

To which Rob replied in the affirmative, saying:

"Yes, all of them go there, yes."

Slasher had previously made an erroneous claim that Dr Disrespect had been arrested from his residential area, as per information he had received from someone who lives near the Doc. This story was soon picked up by major X news outlets, such as Drama Alert. However, these allegations were later retracted by Slasher, who clarified that no such arrest had been made.
