One of Twitch's biggest stars, Kai Cenat, is set to bring back gaming marathons to his stream later this month by trying out Elden Ring's DLC update, titled "Shadow of the Erdtree." The streamer has already played and completed Elden Ring in May 2024. Ahead of his next marathon stream, Kai shared an astonishing 9-minute-long cinematic trailer for his audience.

As expected, the video has garnered widespread attention from both his fans as well as other creators in the scene. Darren "IShowSpeed," one of YouTube's biggest streamers and Kai's friends, commented:
"Go stupid then"
Some other creators like Rani "Stable Ronaldo," Roberto "AMP Fanum" and Macaiyla also reacted to the insane video. Read their comments here:
How much did Kai Cenat spend to make the trailer for the upcoming Elden Ring marathon?
Kai Cenat's gaming marathons are unparalleled. The streamer dedicates himself fully to the cause, often cosplaying as characters from the game and even redecorating his room to match the game's theme.
In fact, the streamer revealed that he spent a whopping $250,000 on the cinematic trailer he released earlier today (June 20). During a stream earlier this month, he said:
"This is no ad, I wasn't helped with this. This is straight love from out of my pockets for the game bro. I spend a quarter mil. I spent 250 thousand (dollars) on the best Elden Ring trailer that you will ever see."
Kai Cenat added that he funded the entire thing out of his pocket and had no sponsors:
"I've been on the set for 13 hours. Just of the love for the game, I just want y'all to feel me and enjoy it. I just noticed like, just do sh*t. This whole summer, I'm investing in myself. I spent a sh*t ton, no help, no sponsor. Just because I fell in love with the game..."
As a token of appreciation, the Elden Ring producers recently sent Kai Cenat a life-sized statue of Malenia, one of the characters in the game. The streamer's Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree gaming marathon will start tomorrow, June 21. The stream will go live around 6 PM ET (Eastern Time).
