One of Kick's biggest streamers Felix "xQc" has reacted to a recent controversy involving fellow Kick streamers Michael "Heelmike" and Jon Zherka. The duo have previously been embroiled in various questionable affairs but their recent antics have certainly pushed the limit as far as the streaming platform is concerned. As of the time of writing, both the streamers were permanently banned.
xQc, who is pretty active in the streaming scene and often gives his takes on various dramas across the industry, reacted to a couple of controversial clips involving the two aforementioned streamers. Speaking of them, xQc said:
"Brother, it just seems to me that they are really trying to use the fake ID as a way to f**king do it, whatever and to justify it as like a shield to f**king get a free pass. This is already disastrous like times 100 at this point."
xQc added:
"Alright bro, I'm over watching it. I'm done. I'm over it. I mean they are banned, good riddance. Holy sh*t, I'm done with this sh*t. It's not that f**king hard brother. If you're in that zone, where you think that you have to ID and this whole vibe, you probably shouldn't be around these people especially when you are way at that age."
Why were Heelmike and Zherka permanently banned from Kick?
Jon Zherka and Heelmike have been permanently banned from Kick.com following their recent stream on June 9, where they were observed streaming alongside what allegedly appeared to be a couple of teenagers.
During the stream, the duo even seemed to engage intimately with them. This, of course, constitutes a blatant violation of Kick's safety policies and Terms of Service. Both the streamers were banned soon after this controversial incident.
Online and esports reporter Jake Lucky (@JakeSucky) took this X.com account to reveal that the ban is "irreversible." He wrote:
"Kick have permanently banned both streamers HeelMike and Zherka following a series of controversial events over the past year. The decision I've been told will be irreversible."
Both streamers have since taken to their X.com accounts to share their reactions to the controversy. Both have alleged that they had checked the IDs before the stream, but upon learning that a couple of them might not be of age, they quickly removed them.
