Twitch streamer and commentator Zack "Asmongold" recently gave his opinion on Path of Exiles 2. It is a paid sequel, in contrast to its free-to-play predecessor, and was released on December 6, 2024, in the form of paid early access.
Asmongold, who usually streams on Twitch as zackrawrr, could be seen playing or talking about Path of Exiles 2 non-stop for nearly fifteen hours. Reviewing the game after this, Asmongold said:
"Okay, let's talk a little bit about it. Let's talk about the game. The game is really fun. I've had fun playing the game the whole time. I went into this game with extremely high expectation and those expectations have been met... Great f**king game, I really enjoyed it a lot."

Asmongold praises Path of Exiles 2 following playing the game for nearly 15 hours straight
Asmongold is known as an avid fan of role-playing games, such as the MMO-RPG title World of Warcraft. As such, he has also critiqued games of this genre, such as Diablo 4, which was called out by Asmongold for having controversial microtransactions, among other issues.
While talking about the game after his extensive gaming session, Asmongold compared it to Diablo 4 in terms of the variety of mob bosses, NPCs, and the uniqueness of their attack patterns. He said:
"You wanna hear something really sad? In the first two acts of this, we've already encountered more unique NPC types than in Diablo 4. If you look at their attack patterns and the way that they react to the player."
Further, he compared it to other action role-playing titles as well, stating:
"I think it's astonishing, the quality of the bosses, especially if you compare it to other ARPGS. I think that it's just a crazy, crazy f**king difference. Really incredible to see. Absolutely incredible to see."
In other news, Asmongold recently discussed a strategy utilized by him to avoid doing laundry for six years. Discussing it during a Twitch broadcast, stated that he had been storing old clothes and purchasing new ones instead of washing them.
