HasanAbi clashes with Palestine supporter after a misunderstanding outside the DNC

Twitch political commentator Hasan "HasanAbi" was involved in a conflict with a Palestine supporter during Day 3 of the Democratic National Convention (DNC), which is taking place in Chicago's United Center. While the streamer was walking outside the arena, he could be seen coming across and complimenting a woman waving the Palestine flag.

After HasanAbi stated that he "liked" the hat the woman was wearing, the man, accompanying her, seemed to misunderstand HasanAbi's intentions. He said:

"Hey man, how about you protest with us instead of f**king (incomprehensible)?"

To clear things up, the 33-year-old streamer stated that he had been a part of the pro-Palestine protest that had taken place on the second day of the DNC:

"You know I was in the protest yesterday, right? I was at the protest one day ago, brother."

HasanAbi gets into a verbal spat with a stranger after the latter misunderstands the streamer's remarks

HasanAbi is known to be an outspoken left-leaning streamer and has been greatly involved in supporting the Palestinian effort. The streamer had raised funds amounting to $1 million, providing medical relief for the Palestinian people affected by the Hamas-Israel conflict in October 2023.

Even after HasanAbi tried to clear up the situation, the man did not appear to calm down. He continued to call out HasanAbi, stating that the latter should "get out" of the area. The streamer then replied:

"Wait, I'm sorry what did you say? Get out of here? You think I'm your f**king enemy? You think I am against Palestinian emancipation? Get the f**k out of here. F**king child."

After the man's response, which was not picked up on the microphone, HasanAbi continued:

"What do you mean, 'Honestly, no'? Why are you chirping at me then?"

The man then audibly told the Twitch streamer to not label him a "child," to which the latter replied:

"Because you're being a f**king child. Be an adult. Think clearly, dumba**."

On another note, HasanAbi and fellow streamer Steven "Destiny" are known within the Twitch political scene to be long-time rivals due to political and personal differences, despite having somewhat similar left-leaning ideologies.

On August 19, 2024, HasanAbi encountered a stream sniper who brought up this feud, claiming that it was Destiny who had "made" HasanAbi. This led to the streamer calling the person a "f**king loser."
