Streaming personality Adin Ross recently had a discussion with Kick CEO Ed Craven as part of a live broadcast on the Stake-backed platform. Talking about FaZe Clan member Josh "YourRAGE's" recent departure from Kick, Adin Ross revealed to Ed Craven that the lack of certain features offered by the streaming platform may have encouraged YourRAGE's exit.

While talking to Craven over a video call, Ross stated that YourRAGE had repeatedly expressed his desire for the platform to instate a feature equivalent to Twitch's Channel Points, voting, and polls.

For context, Channel Points on Twitch are customizable points that allow streamers to reward their viewers with special perks usually reserved for subscribers. These can be earned by various activities, including simply watching or partaking in raids.

However, the feature was not added despite this, which as per Ross could have contributed to him leaving Kick. Ross said:

"Okay, so, a streamer like YourRAGE, he came on and he was asking for like, one thing. He wanted Channel Points and he wanted, you know, voting or polls, right? The right vote-poll system. And he asked a long time, a long long time for that."

"He's the type of person that involves his community": Adin Ross discusses reasons behind FaZe YourRAGE's exit from Kick

Adin Ross's collaborative broadcast with Kick CEO Ed Craven comes days after the former announced that he would leave the platform "indefinitely" and focus on getting reinstated on Twitch. Talking to Craven, Adin Ross claimed that he had known YourRAGE for a significant period and described him as someone who focuses a lot on community involvement with his content.

Ross said:

"To be fair, I've known Josh for a very long time, for years. I know for a fact that like, he's the type of person that involves community, like all of these reactions and all these types of things. I just know he made it very very, you know, very clear that he needed that feature in order for his chat to kind of be engaged, you know."

He also stated that this was simply a spontaneous example and that he could name more, but would not do so:

"That's an example that I could just think off the top of my head. I can name more but it's like, I don't want to do that. I just want to show you guys, like, a small change could do so much for the platform. That's what I'm trying to get at."

Apart from discussing FaZe YourRAGE's qualms about the features on Kick, Ross revealed that he would be streaming the boxing events organized by his company, Brand Risk Promotions, on Kick itself. Despite not clearly stating whether he would continue streaming on the Stake-backed platform himself, he has clarified that Brand Risk organized events will be broadcasted on Kick "no matter what."
