"He edited the tweet three times, it's just so bad" - Nickmercs gives his take on Dr DisRespect's admission of texting a minor

Twitch and Kick streamer Nicholas "Nickmercs" has responded to Herschel "Guy," aka "Dr DisRespect," admitting to texting a minor in 2017. During a livestream on June 26, 2024, Nickmercs shared his thoughts on those "still defending" Dr DisRespect. He also stated that the "Two-Time Champ" defended himself in a "really odd way."

The FaZe Clan co-owner elaborated:

"'We still don't know if he knew she was underage.' Yes, we do! Yes, we do, he admitted that in his tweet. Yeah, people are still trying to defend what he did. I mean, even he tried to defend what he did in a really odd way in that tweet. Like, he said that he knew she was underage, and he would still text her, and the text... I can't remember how he put it in his tweet. But what did he say? The texts would sometimes go in a certain way?"

Commenting on the 42-year-old's decision to edit his admission, posted on X, multiple times, Nickmercs remarked:

"Yeah, he edited the tweet three times, it's just so bad. It's so bad, you guys! It's so bad!"

Nickmercs says he gave Dr DisRespect the "benefit of the doubt" until more details were revealed about his situation

Nickmercs continued the conversation, claiming that he gave Dr DisRespect the "benefit of the doubt" until more details about his situation were revealed. The streamer also said The Doc's actions were "unacceptable."

He said:

"And look, what do you want from me, man? You know? I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt until we knew more. But look, it's unacceptable... in any world, that is unacceptable. You've got to be smarter. You've got to be better. You can't do s**t like that!"

Wondering where Dr DisRespect's "head and heart" was, Nickmercs added:

"Not only it that against the law, but where the f**k is your head and your heart at to do things like that? You know? What are we doing? Why are we doing stuff like that?"

Nickmercs also insinuated that he did not know The Doc personally. He said:

"He was a friend. People think that we're like best friends, like, we're hanging out. I don't even know the guy outside of a wig. We took one picture together, and newsflash, he was in a wig! And we talked for eight minutes."

Nickmercs recently made headlines after becoming embroiled in a dispute with Ava Kris Tyson. Following his controversial remarks about transgender people, Ava Kris Tyson's ex-wife, Katie, addressed the online community, telling Nickmercs to "be better" and "set better examples."
