On his Christmas stream dated December 24, 2025, Kai Cenat came across a YouTuber who was re-streaming his Twitch broadcast without the ads and was quite irritated by it. The YouTuber in question, Tyco Reacts, had been simultaneously reacting to Kai's stream on the Google-owned platform, allowing viewers to watch the stream in its entirety.
While many might not feel this affects Kai Cenat, simultaneous re-streams take away viewers from his official viewership. While this may not have been done without malice, it seems such re-streams are preferable to some as they circumvent Twitch ads.
Regardless of intent, Kai Cenat was angered. The Twitch streamer even claimed that the YouTuber was "finished" after he caught Tyco Reacts watching his stream. He also noted how the title of the YouTube stream had the words "Ad Free" in it and said:
"Ad free? You're done. He's finished. You're done. Ni**a put the 'Ad free', he's finished! I hate that, bro. I hate that. It's like, ni**a! He is finished, I ain't going to lie chat, he is finished."
"It's not you personally": Kai Cenat asks YouTuber to log off and not re-stream his content on Twitch

The YouTuber who was simultaneously streaming, Tyco Reacts, reacted to the whole situation and was quite dismissive after Kai Cenat expressed his frustration with him. The YouTuber noted how he had almost 70K subscribers (62K in reality) and wondered out loud why he could not put "Ad free" in the title:
"That's crazy. Look ni**a I've got seventy f**king thousand subs gang. Damn, ni**a can't even say ad free on his sh*t, gang?"
Within a minute of Tyco Reacts saying this, Kai Cenat once again asked him to log off from the stream and explained that it was not personal:
"Tyco Reacts, I am going to tell you one more time gang, you've got 62K subscribers. I am going to spare you, but I am telling you right now just log off, I am not going to lie. It's not you personally. A lot of ni**as ruined it during the Mafiathon."
After which Tyco Reacts ended his stream, stating:
"I got you gang, I got you. No problem, no problem."
While Kai may have mentioned that re-streamers were doing it during the Mafiathon 2 stream earlier this year, the Twitch star did break the subscriber record on the platform and became the first person to have more than 700K concurrent subscribers.
