Twitch and Kick star Felix "xQc" has received backlash from his community after he seemingly poor-shamed a Deadlock player. During a livestream on the Stake-backed platform, the French-Canadian personality played Valve's newly announced hero shooter.

However, at one point, xQc was outplayed by an opponent who eventually killed him in the game. The 29-year-old appeared upset by the situation and congratulated them sarcastically, writing, "Man, you're so good," in the in-game chat box.

Claiming that the player "did the impossible" by outplaying him in Deadlock, the former Overwatch pro seemingly made remarks about their financial situation:

"All right, you killed me. Congratulations, man. You did the impossible. Now pay the rent. Now afford food. Got ya!"

Numerous netizens have shared their thoughts on xQc's remarks, with some expressing their displeasure. According to YouTube user @RobbyBlumpkin, the streamer gambles to "hide poor gaming skills":

"LMFAO, he gambles to hide his poor gaming skills."

One community member described the Quebec native as a "tragic figure":

"X is a tragic figure of his own making."

YouTube user @basbs7952 commented on xQc's "ego" by writing:

"I really don't understand this guy's ego. I personally have equity that goes seven figures. But at no moment I actually want to talk about it. Rubbing it into anyone's face is even worse. xQc has been gone for a long time I guess..."

YouTuber Vygo believed that the Twitch streamer's comments aimed at the Deadlock player was a "low blow":

"That's a low blow, lol."

Not the first time xQc has been called out for calling someone "poor"

In April 2024, xQc collaborated with Tyler "Trainwreckstv," Adin Ross, and other Kick streamers to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. After one of their games, Trainwreckstv expressed surprise that his friends were trash-talking him and his gaming abilities.

In response, xQc stated that the Iranian-American personality's skills in the first-person shooter were not up to par, calling him a "dumb f**k" and telling him to "be quiet." This led to a heated verbal altercation between the two.

At one point, xQc called Trainwreckstv poor. This led to the Kick ambassador calling him out by saying that xQc should never "disrespect" him by making such comments:

"I'm richer than you, believe me. I'm richer than you. You can tell the public whatever you want. But you and I both know I'm richer than you. So don't ever talk to me like that again! Get the f**k out of here! Listen, don't do that to me. Don't do that to me! Don't! Don't! Listen, with gaming, hey, that's all yours. But don't ever disrespect me."

xQc is a renowned figure in the livestreaming community, best known for his gaming, gambling, and reaction content. He has been broadcasting on Twitch since 2016 and currently has over 12 million followers.
