Controversial Kick streamer Ragnesh "N3on" has garnered social media attention after making bold claims about how difficult livestreaming is as a career. During a recent broadcast, N3on claimed that working as a streamer is the "hardest job in the world" in terms of mentally demanding work. While asserting that he wasn't "clip farming" by making such statements, the 19-year-old said:
"I'm not clip farming and I'm not doing any of this s**t. I mean this in the nicest way possible. I swear to god, on my life. On my life, I swear to god, mentally, not physically, mentally, working as a streamer is the hardest job in the world. You can't even compete, bro."
N3on then drew parallels between livestreaming and competing in the Olympics, remarking:
"It's harder to be a streamer than be in the Olympics. I swear to god! On my life. You guys have to understand. The stress, trying to top yourself, trying to meet the standards, trying to think the content... I swear to god! You can say clip farming, I don't give a f**k! You can say what you want. You don't understand because you're not a streamer. You don't get it. This is the hardest s**t in the world. You can ask any streamer. You can ask anyone."
N3on's comments elicited responses from over a thousand netizens on X, with user @SadMavsFan4177 commenting:
"I genuinely don't know if this dude is trolling or not but he does a great job of making me hate him," wrote X user @SadMavsFan4177.
One community member believed that the content creator hadn't worked a "real job":
"He's never had a real job in his life," commented X user @shahtty.
X user @RuggedTheDragon wanted to see the Indian-American personality "run a few laps":
"I want this guy to run a few laps. He'll be passed out before he can even reach the halfway point," stated X user @RuggedTheDragon.
Contrastingly, X user @NoseBleedersMMA seemed to agree with the Kick streamer's opinions, writing:
"The Olympics is once every four years, streaming is every day," tweeted X user @NoseBleedersMMA.
It's not just N3on, Twitch streamer FaZe Lacy also believes streaming is harder than a full-time job
N3on is not the only popular streamer to have compared livestreaming to another profession. On August 6, 2024, a one-minute video surfaced on X, in which Twitch streamer Nick "FaZe Lacy" stated that streaming is more difficult than working full-time jobs. According to the FaZe Clan member, livestreaming necessitates "social skills" that are more difficult than working a traditional nine-to-five job.
