Twitch streamer Nicholas "Jynxzi" took to his Twitch stream earlier today (July 9) to speak about the ongoing situation involving Kylie "Sketch" (or TheSketchReal). For those out of the loop, there were some pictures (seemingly of Sketch) featuring him engaging in adult content. He has since publicly acknowledged his past relationships with men.
Jynxzi is one of the closest friends of Sketch, and the duo have collaborated on and off-stream regularly. Reacting to the ongoing controversy (and the subsequent toxic comments directed at the streamer), Jynxzi voiced his support. A teary-eyed streamer said:
"Sketch will be my friend no matter what and he didn't hurt anybody so maybe don't hurt him. He didn't hurt anybody."
He also thanked FaZe Banks for being there for the streamer:
"W Banks (FaZe Banks) yet again, 'cause seriously, I'm not f**king trolling, you never know, but this genuinely could've saved Sketch's life (Sketch said that he would've killed himself but for Bank's support)."
He added:
"I'm sorry if I can't do a normal stream today. A lot of sh*t happened and I never talk about stuff like this but it's different when it's your friend. I don't think I can do a normal stream tonight. I'll definitely do a normal stream tomorrow. I'm sorry guys. It doesn't feel right to play video games and act like nothing happened."
What did FaZe Banks say about Twitch streamer Sketch?
The ongoing situation involving Sketch has naturally garnered numerous reactions online. While some have shared their controversial opinions, FaZe Banks has been a constant support for the Twitch streamer. He took to his X.com account to post:
"All the FaZe boys were with him last night. Sketch was my homie yesterday, he’s my homie today, he’ll be my homie tomorrow."
In his confessional stream last night, Sketch also expressed his gratitude towards FaZe Banks. He stated that he would have killed himself but thanked Banks, his parents, and his fans for their support. He said:
"Plan A was, I will say candidly, it was to eat... probably call it quits if this ever came out. But some people saved me. Shoutout Banks, shoutout my parents, shoutout you all."
While there has been mostly a positive and wholesome attitude towards the Twitch streamer's history, a couple of streamers have been quite skeptical. Rumble streamer Nico "Sneako" and Twitch streamer Bruce "BruceDropEmOff" have both been quite critical.
