"He should be proud of himself": Asmongold praises Adin Ross for his Kick stream with Donald Trump

Twitch star Asmongold has praised Adin Ross for his recent Kick stream with Donald Trump. Asmongold, who has only been streaming on his alt account Zackrawrr recently, is known for discussing the goings-on of the streaming industry, and he has been very positive about the interview between Trump and Ross.

The one-and-a-half-hour stream from Mar-a-Lago has become a hot topic of debate in the community after content creators such as Mizkif and HasanAbi were critical of Adin Ross' collaboration with Donald Trump.

Asmongold, however, has come out in full support of the Kick streamer, stating that he should be proud of what he achieved. In a recent livestream, the content creator said:

"I am going to be real. I actually think that Adin did an amazing job with the interview. I think he killed it! He did a great job, an insane job. It was really impressive. I think he should be proud of himself for it."

Asmongold also congratulated Ross on how successful the broadcast was for both him and Kick as a streaming platform:

"Yeah, he absolutely did, it was phenomenal. Absolutely he should be proud of himself. Like for Kick and all of them setting it up? Crazy, crazy success. Insane success!"

Asmongold gives his final thoughts after watching the Adin Ross x Donald Trump Kick stream

As mentioned, not everyone in the streaming community had a positive reaction to the Donald Trump stream hosted by Adin Ross on August 5, 2024. Notably, Twitch's resident political commentator HasanAbi was very critical of some of the things that happened during the broadcast.

HasanAbi called out both Ross and Trump for the exchange of gifts during the stream, which included an expensive Rolex. The streamer even insinuated that an alleged crime was committed when the GOP presidential nominee accepted the gift. He then said Ross' viewers were dumb for liking such content.

Asmongold, however, had a completely different outlook on the broadcast. After watching the stream on his channel, the MMO streamer seemed quite pleased that a fellow content creator had managed to pull off a live interview with a political figure like Donald Trump.

Asmongold even reused some of the adjectives used by Ross' critics and claimed that the broadcast was much better than he had expected:

"Now that I have seen the whole thing, I think Adin absolutely f**king killed it. I think he did so well, he did way better than I expected. I was actually concerned that it would be a clown show, like super cringe and stupid. But he really stepped up and did a great job."

Asmongold noted that while Ross had done a lot of "goofy" things in the past, his interview with Trump exceeded his expectations:

"I was impressed. 'Cus I have watched Adin for years, right? He's done a lot of goofy stupid sh*t over the years. So I didn't know what to expect going into this. Way better than what I had expected."

Adin Ross previously talked about how he needs to clean up his act and become less toxic to get unbanned on Twitch. It appears his first major content since then, his collaboration with Donald Trump, is a huge success.
