Kick streamer Yousef "Fousey" recently collaborated with fellow streamer Siomani "Demisux," and the two had great on-screen chemistry, despite their opposing personalities. However, one particular clip from their stream has gone viral, showing a rather animated Fousey singing along to the lyrics of Stan. This reminded many of his infamous "manic episode" from 2023:
However, fans weren't entirely convinced this time around since some commented that Fousey was just farming clickbait-worthy moments for content. In fact, one X user reacted by stating:
"For everyone in the comments, he’s just clip-farming. Even last year after that car clip he’s redone rapping along to that Stan-specific part over 10 times from even last year to today," said @Joshzarrr
Another user joked about whether it was time for his "annual" manic episode:
"Is it already time for his annual manic episodes?" said @iFlyHighhhh
Meanwhile, a third X user opined that Demisux did not care as long as she got some good content:
"Demi don’t care. As long as she gets clips for this, she’s good," said @Californio415
A fourth user compared Fousey with YouTuber Gabbie Hanna (the latter has had her share of such moments), as they wrote:
"Bro the male Gabbie Hanna," said @MalkiahWilliams
What is the Fousey "manic episode" controversy?
2023 was quite an eventful year for Fousey. Although he experienced a breakthrough in his streaming career, he also became embroiled in several controversies, most notably his widely discussed "manic episodes."
In August 2023, the streamer, who was then active on Twitch, had his channel suspended. Although the official reason for the ban was not disclosed, he was seen streaming while driving in a frenzied state just days before. Watch the clip here:
This wasn’t the end of this turbulent chapter. In August 2023, Fousey faced one of his most controversial moments when he "self-swatted" himself while in a hotel room. During the stream, the police arrived and questioned him about the incident, and he appeared to be agitated throughout the encounter.
This turned out to be Fousey's final stream for several months as he was later admitted to a mental clinic. He made his comeback in early 2024.
Fousey is currently a full-time streamer on Kick, where he has amassed over 256K followers. He primarily focuses on hosting IRL (in real life) content.
