Twitch streamer Hasan "HasanAbi" has shared his thoughts on whether the recent allegations against Steven "Destiny" would be the "end" of him. On January 27, 2025, a two-minute-35-second video from HasanAbi's livestream surfaced on X. In it, the political commentator stated that "a lot of people" believe that the recent scandal would impact the Kick streamer's career.
While claiming that Steven has "been this way for quite some time," HasanAbi remarked:
"Look, a lot of people think like, 'Oh, this is the end of Destiny,' or whatever. Like, I don't think so. I think that he has, in many respects, always been this way. Okay? Like, he's been this way for quite some time. And his core fanbase, I think, don't really care. They treat everything as drama. But there are definitely people that are in the edges that previously might have been a part of his core fanbase that think this is unacceptable."
HasanAbi believes there's no "cancellation" for Destiny, calls the Kick streamer's community "cultish"
After suggesting that the recent allegations of revenge po*n would not mark the "end" of Destiny's online career, HasanAbi stated that he believed there was no "cancellation" for the 36-year-old content creator. He elaborated:
"Ultimately, I think, as long as you stay the course and you don't admit to anything, and continue doing whatever you're doing, or even if you admit to s**t like Dr DisResepect did, there's no real quote-unquote cancellation. I mean, people will use this against him forever in arguments. Especially because his content revolves around not playing video games by himself or maybe sometimes collaborating with others, but instead directly engaging people in the marketplace of ideas."

Furthermore, the Turkish-American personality speculated that Destiny's fanbase would not "move away from him," describing the Kick streamer's community as "cultish":
"I think that he will... like, his fanbase is not going to move away from him. I feel like the approach they have is... it literally is cultish. The approach they have for the most part, like, the mega fans is that, 'This man is too valuable of a voice for brilliant liberalism,' and you know, 'We can't just cast him aside, after all, the Republicans also operate in a cult-like fashion and we should do that. But we shouldn't tarnish our heroes so easily.'"
In other news, Twitch streamer Denims accused Destiny of threatening her by stating that he would share "illegal" recordings he made without her consent.
