Michael "Heelmike" has been banned from Twitch, and any attempt to open his channel on the platform now leads to a message declaring that it is unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. As per prominent streaming news personality @scubaryan_, this ban is indefinite.
This development comes a month after he received a ban from Kick for several controversial events, including a physical fight between Jon Zherka and Heelmike, and allegedly "endangering" a minor.
Heelmike receives permanent ban from Twitch a month after being banned from Kick
Heelmike has received a ban from Twitch a day after his last stream on the platform. The Just Chatting creator had over 7.42 million followers at the time of being banned, despite not having streamed regularly on the Amazon-backed website since February 2023. He made the shift to Kick in January 2023 and received his first ban in February after indulging in sexually inappropriate behavior on camera.
He had also been banned in October of the same year for engaging in a physical fight with other creators, including Cuffem, SweaterGXD, and Citrus. Fellow creator Aaron "Ac7ionMann", who shares grievances with the creator, took to X to share his view on the ban. He claimed that he had gone "out of his way" to make sure that Heelmike received a ban, including using "every connection":
Talking about his contribution to the ban, he wrote:
"Went out of my way to make sure this guy got banned btw. Used every connection I’ve made over 8 years to guarantee this pr**k got banned. Goodbye one last time, pu**y."
Heelmike is known for his recurrent physical fights, often engaging in physical tussles with other creators and sometimes even unnamed individuals both live and off-camera. In an incident that took place on April 11, 2024, the creator appeared on camera with a bruised face after engaging in an argument, which eventually escalated into a physical altercation.
