The Streamer Awards 2024 have officially revealed the nominees for this year's event. For those unaware, the annual ceremony, hosted by Twitch star Blaire "QTCinderella," will premiere on December 7, 2024, at 9:30 PM PT and December 8, 2024, at 4:30 AM GMT.
Earlier today (November 11, 2024), QTCinderella announced the list of nominees for various categories, which includes the highly coveted Streamer of the Year award.
The following content creators have been nominated for the flagship category at The Streamer Awards 2024:

- Emily "Emiru" Schunk

A reaction thread on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit has garnered significant traction, with one Redditor questioning why Pirate Software and Emiru were nominated in the category.
"Honest question here, how are PirateSoftware and Emiru even up for nomination?" commented Redditor u/Diidoompdomp.
Redditor u/digitalpizza5 wondered whether the nominations were "tampered with."
"Emiru gets a Streamer of the Year nom, but not one for female Streamer of the Year? Surely, these nominations aren't being tampered with," remarked u/digitalpizza5.
