Streamer, musician, and internet personality Yousef "Fousey" Erakat has had a tumultuous 2024. Most recently, in November, he was banned from two of the biggest streaming platforms, Twitch and Kick. Ed Craven, the CEO of Kick, even claimed that the internet had seen enough of Fousey, following a series of extreme rants and controversial behavior from the streamer.
Regardless, Fousey's Kick account was re-instated, and on December 7, 2024, a clip of the streamer threatening a lawsuit against Inno Studio went viral on the internet.
Located in Beverly Hills, California, Inno Studio is a high-tech creative space that specializes in innovation and design. The studio offers services and experiences focused on 3D printing, augmented reality (AR), and other advanced technologies.
In addition to these products, Inno Studio features the NAXEON I AM, a state-of-the-art electric motorcycle that combines futuristic design with advanced functionality. It features a top speed of 115–120 km/h and a range of up to 180 km. Fousey purchased the I AM and after going on a ride, he went back to criticize Inno Studio for not installing rear-view mirrors:
"You set me on without rear-view mirrors... You guys are sorry but I could have died tonight, so sorry is not gonna cut it!"
After he claimed the shop allegedly did not follow the appropriate safety protocols, he became visibly upset and threatened to sue the company after he caught an employee of the shop recording him:
"Inno Studio, f*ck the studio, ('I'm sorry', said the owner of the shop) No, don't give me a sorry, give me my money back, and have him delete the video or I swear to God you have a lawsuit coming if that hits the internet."
"I've lost a friend to a motorcycle": Fousey criticizes the employees of Inno Studio
Fousey then went on to express the need for safety in these vehicles, perhaps because the I AM can achieve relatively high speeds as compared to other electric bikes:
"I've lost a friend to a motorcycle, my best friend has lost a friend, my family doesn't want me to ride, I choose to ride... What I want if for you guys to take accountability and say, 'You know what sir, let us go get those rear-view mirrors for you'."
In conclusion, the streamer stormed off the scene leaving the $8,000 electric vehicle behind, demanding a full refund and threatening claims of lawsuits to the owner.
In other news, in a recent live rant, Fousey suggested that top Twitch streamers, including Kai Cenat, use viewbots to enhance their viewership count.
